Aged Hong Mei Mao Feng Black Tea
Our Aged Hong Mei Mao Feng is an uncommon black tea from Zhejiang. Its Chinese name translates as "Red Plum Flower Tip." Mao feng refers to the style of leaf, which resembles a pointy blade. This particular tea is made with the most delicate mao feng possible, consisting exclusively jet black tips that are beautifully twisted into a long, thin, springy strand. The leaf is rolled by hand three times, with intervals in between to control oxidation, to produce the beautiful shape. In this aged version of Hong Mei Mao Feng, you'll notice a pronounced concentration of flavors and aroma that highlights this tea's unique preserved plum taste. An extraordinarily fragrant and robustly flavorful tea that connoisseurs will love.
