Fancy Tie Guan Yin
The large, bold leaves, and rich, roasted, slightly nutty flavor of this excellent oolong make it a good introduction to Imperial Tea Court's world famous collection of Tie Guan Yin teas.
GROWING REGION
Fujian, China: Fujian is a coastal province in southeastern China where the finest oolong, white, and jasmine teas are produced. According to the written record, teas have been produced there for well over 1,600 years. Growers currently produce five different categories of tea, most of which originated in the province.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend infusing Fancy Tieguanyin with 85-95C (185-203F) water for approximately 2-4 minutes (using about 1 tsp. per serving). Re-steep 3-4 times by increasing time and water temperature for each infusion. Always adjust quantity of leaves, infusion time, and water temperature according to your personal preferences.
