Since Jiangxi province is well-known for producing renowned porcelain — including tea ware — in Jingdezhen, it's no surprise that great teas are produced in this region as well. In addition to the famous Lu Shan Yun Wu tea, Jiangxi’s famous green tea is the Gougunao Green Tea. Gou means dog, and guano refers to a bull’s head. The tea is rumored to be named after a mountain that resembles a large dog, as big as a bull’s head! The abundant amounts of amino acids, tea polyphenols and other minerals help give this tea its unique fragrance with a deep, textured flavor and sweet finish.
