Yixing Gongfu Tea Pitcher

This tea pitcher is referred to as the "gong dao hu" during gongfu tea ceremonies. Gong dao hu can be translated as “the fairness pot.” The steeped tea is poured into this pitcher before it is shared with others so all guests receive tea of the same strength. Without a serving pitcher, tea continues to steep as it’s being poured from the teapot. This results in a stronger cup for the last tea recipient, and a different experience for each of your guests.
